How to learn coding , resources ?

So I took a couple of days off to watch all of d-healey's videos and really get into Hise.
I was looking at some Javascript tutorials as well but they seem mostly web html based?
Assuming that I will learn quite bit from the d-healey videos , what are some other resources I should look at to get better ...quick ;)

I am getting a bit frustrated with hacking around and scouring for snippets to mess with .
