AU Validation Logic Fail

@d-healey Nevermind ! I fixed it. Anyway you can take a look to the snippet. it's a random patch generator synth

@d-healey Tha main random button was assigned as a plugin parameter. [DON'T ASSIGN A FUNCTION AS A PLUGIN PARAMETER :) ] I removed that and Logic validated the .component :)

@hisefilo When the AU validation occured first, did you try to re-validate it?

Sometimes the exported plugins can't pass the AU validation for the first time (very rarely by the way), but when you try to revalidate, then it's ok.

I think I remember @Christoph-Hart saying something like if you use pluginParameterName, you'll need isMetaParameter as well for Logic in order to pass the validation...

@ustk really?? Wow, need to check that again. Validation passed but if any of you guys are on Logic and want to test it for me will be amazing :)

Of course you can use isPluginParameterName in AU plugins.

What Christoph was saying about you need to use isMetaParameterName in order to change other controls in their control callback. Otherwise AU plugin will fail validation.

Any reason not to enable is meta parameter for all controls by default?

@d-healey mmm nope, I guess cause it's off by default (I tend to not enable things I don't know what they are for :) )

@d-healey I haven't noticed anything strange when enabling it for all parameters/plugin formats yet...
