@Kalliopei it depends on what you want to achieve.
If you want to draw the buffer you need to expose its display buffer (as you did already since the little icon is green), get a reference in the script and draw it in a panel using a timer.If you want to get the nodes to performs realtime network modifications, you'll lose the ability to compile the network as DLL (it's one or the other).

@Kalliopei I'm making like a gain reduction meter that takes in before and after a compression while also being baked into my existing output meter for a stylistic choice, but I also found that the MatrixPeakMeter had a builtin skew that doesn't make it linear 60/45/30/15/0 instead it's like 60/55/45/15/0 or something like that. And no matter how much I change the skew it always and never become linear. ):

@ustk I'm not exactly sure if I'm purely modifying the network, but I actually just want to read 2 peak nodes before and after a compression and subtracting them together. That's the thing though I don't know how to reference them.
Also I'm quite ignorant on the significance of stuff like being able to compile to DLL, cause idrk how they work.

@Kalliopei if you just want to show the gain reduction on your UI, use a global cable with the mod output of the compressor and register an async callback on your UI script:
