HISE or plugin MIDI output/ pass through for stacking instruments

Hey guys,

When compiling HISE or a plugin using Projucer, there is an option to select whether the plugin produces MIDI output. This got me thinking.

Is it possible to have HISE or a plugin created with HISE pass through the MIDI to another VSTi?

The purpose for this is if you want to stack several instruments to all be triggered by a single MIDI track. Normally you would need to replicate a MIDI track for each additional layered instrument and then route each duplicated MIDI track to a single instrument.

It would be great to be able to send MIDI to VSTi1, which then sends it to VSTi2, which then sends it to VSTi3.

Can this be done?

Nevermind. It seems that you can route midi to another VSTi using the send feature of a midi track.
