When I export my vst into fl studio it has latency or something, NEED HELP
-
@Lindon well a higher buffer can cause a noticeable lag between pressing a key on your midi keyboard and hearing the note trigger. Assuming we're talking about audio interface buffer size.

see above - Im talking about Sample Settings Buffer size....not audio interface buffer size...
-
@Lindon ah got it, carry on
-
@Lindon
im talking about these setings i wanna make it so that it doesnt make my laptop lag (cpu lag not latency) -
@duma So am I....this will not solve your lag problems if its in your code... you can try increasing the buffer size if you think your laptop disk is slow...but in any case follow David's instructions.
-
@duma The buffer settings look fine but the timestretching adds latency.
-
@David-Healey i tried exporting i knew it would effectc my export if i updaed to a newer version

-
@duma Did you compile the latest version of HISE?
-
@David-Healey Yes I did
-
@duma Did you clean the build before compiling your plugin?
-
@David-Healey What do u mean, because it doesnt show up to clean a build on my hise before i compile
-
@duma In the export menu there is an option to clean the build

Also what commit hash do you see in HISE when you go to Help > About HISE?

@David-Healey heres an example video of my problems (i did everything but it told me to turn off ipp) we can focus on that later though i ust need to fix this right now example of latency and heavy on cpu (1).mov

@duma Have you tested a standalone build or tried in another daw? Have you tried turning off timestretching in the sampler settings?
