@DJJD12345 in the terminal run the command git log. This will give a list of the commits and the one at the top will show the most recent one you have.

You can also run git branch to see which branch you are using.

For git branch the terminal said this:

            git branch
fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

But everything is installed as I previously described. And the terminal can't tell me git log or git branch.

Check this list and tell me if this is what you did.

                          • Removed all previous copies of HISE and the HISE source code from your system
                          • Used git clone to download the HISE source code
                          • From the terminal used cd to enter the HISE source code directory
                          • Used git checkout develop to switch to the develop branch
                          • Compiled HISE

@DJJD12345 Are you using the develop branch? Hise uses xcbeautify for a little while now...

He said Hise uses xcbeautify and xcpretty for a little while. Why?

Excellent. So now when you run git log in that folder what do you see?

@DJJD12345 cd into the folder, just like when you checked out the develop branch, but instead of running git checkout... run git log

That means you didn't use git clone to download the source code.

Start over, remove all copies of HISE and the HISE source code from your system. Then make a video showing me the full process you are following.

Yes none of those will work because it's not a git repo.
