      Hello all.

I and following along with a tutorial but need to stop and do other things as I go. Each time I close Hise and re-open it, the project seems to no longer be able to animate the faders I've created. I defiantly am not on the latest version as I havEn't learnt how to compile HISE from source yet so I'm thinking its a bug that has likely been fixed. My question is, is there a way to fix this issue without installing a compiled version (I don't have time right now to learn that bit as I'm aware its a steep learning curve).

      Cheers,

      Ed

@suttonaudio Turn off the show text box property for the sliders.

@d-healey said in I can not move my sliders when opening a new project.:

          property for the sliders.

Perfect! that's the ticket! Funny it comes on after a reload but again I'm asumming its a bug thats been fixed in a later version.

          Cheers,

nope you need to set this property and then save your project (Save as XML)

@Lindon. Thanks for this, it does still seem like a quirk to me that it can be enabled when you first create the slider and the slider can animate but then after a restart the same property prevents the animation animating. I may have the wrong end of the stick on this but I guess it doesn't matter - once you know, you know.

I defiantly am not on the My issue is that it's very difficult to move the slider. You have to click, move the slider, and then release to go to the next or previous I had a slider-not-sliding problem. It turned out that the merlot red wine slider was overlapped by a UI.Text that was its sibling. Even though the actual text if you press Enter and rename any of the elements in your Project Window for some mysterious reason the slider will reposition itself.
