@d-healey Ahhh.... that didn't work. But just looking at the file structure. I've spotted the issue. I have all my main project work in folders with an underscore at the beginning (just how I've organised my folders forever!). Hise doesn't seem to like that underscore. I've dragged the project folder onto the desktop and it's built! 9 times out of 10 these kind of things are either a checkbox, or a stray underscore or space.

@d-healey I have, the default location. I'm just doing an update of visual studio and I'm going to delete hise and try and start again from source again. There must be the tiniest of things that's been missed along the way. I'll run through the process again. It's not with the project so it's something with the set up.

@Lindon ok, tried that and still getting the same.

@Lindon Ok, I select VSTi, then a box pops up saying "Batch File already found - Do you want to rewrite the batch file for the compile process?" Clicking either Ok or Cancel on this then immediately pops up with the Export Error - Compilation error.

@Lindon It's the right one then, it gives a little notice when it's the wrong folder which is helpful.
