Sustain Knob jumping

I have a sustain knob that's jumping very suddenly from it's lowest value of -100 to about -8db when I turn it up. Any idea what's going on? Here are my settings:

Middle position is -1

@d-healey took me a second to figure it out, but that changing it to -50 fixed it. So the middlePosition creates a bias in the numbers along a slider, is that correct?

If you have a knob that goes from -100 to 0 and the centre position is set to -1, that doesn't leave a lot of room between the centre and the highest value so you'll get a jump. It's not that there is a bias, you are still getting all the values, it's just there is only 1 position between the centre value and 0.
