This occurred in a project while using the March 5 (2024) Dev build on macOS Sonoma/M2/Xcode 15. The resulting project exhibited the consistent, errant behaviour when compiling with my HISE build, and a much older Windows build.

When I connected a global modulator (which wasn't in the Sampler Tree) to a destination in the rebuilt Sampler tree, the modulator failed to send data.

So, I deleted the global modulator branch, recreated it exactly, and reconnected the destination in the Sampler branch. According to the screen display in the Table view, data was now getting through.

But the modulated effect (a filter) did not display any updates in the filter-view. And everything had a message I haven't seen before: "Not Assigned".

That's where things stand as of now.

Yeah I can confirm this is what was happening - seems the latest build might have a problem with the Global Modulators -> filter freq.
