      I'm trying to figure it out how to for example if using the compressor trying to eq 100hz but keeping the original sound intact, is kind of a sidechaining.

      I maybe not explaining right but I hope you got the idea

        Sounds like you need a multiband approach - look at the Linkwitz Reily filters.

          @Lindon what I’m actually after is how to tell compressor to ignore certain frequencies while compressing. Example start compressing from 100hz up

            @Jay definitely a multiband comp (or a single band if you just want to start at a specific freq and above…)
            Split your signal in two bands, and compress only the upper one

              @Lindon Build it in ScriptNode, and either insert or split (depending on what you need) with a high-pass filter before the compressor.
