How to switch from .component to .au?
-
FL studio doesn't show my .component plugin on Mac. I tried the .vst version aswell and it shows the plugin at least, but with an error.
Is it possible in HISE to switch the .component export to .au and could this be the problem for FL studio?
(Other DAWs work very well)

@elemen8t And the windows version of this plugin (.dll and vst3) work very well in fl studio.

Does the AU show up in Logic? .component is the correct file extension for au plugins.
-
@d-healey I didn't have Logic so i just downloaded the trial but i can't find it there too. I tried Reaper aswell and there it works.
-
@elemen8t Is it in the standard folder for au plugins?
-
@d-healey Yes I fixed it I think. There was no type (effect/synth) applied and i added that manually in FL studio and applied it and that fixed the error.
Thanks for your time tho and the clarification that .component is the correct file.

@elemen8t is there a way to select the right type in HISE? I did it for VST3 type (synth) but it seems this isn't the selection for every version.

@elemen8t for mac you check vst3 and in the vst3 export + au (component). Please note they are exported to the user audio plugin library. Drag into the computer's default logic library to search for it. logic you have to pay attention to mono and stereo tracks if you have not checked the box in hise (mono fx support) it will only work in stereo.
