How do I get an LFOs current "stage"?
-
Hi,
How can get the current "stage" an LFO in real time?
I don't mean the .getCurrentLevel function. Something that holds the stage from 0 to 1 regardless of the current level or curve. -
I think this is a job for global cables (but don't ask me how to use them)

@d-healey I came up with a very impractical workaround involving a secondary LFO fixed in a saw shape, tied to the frequency of the original LFO. But for a project involving multiple LFOs, it creates more problems than it solves.
I there a simpler way?

@RastaChess Since the oscillator does not output its "position" I can't think of a solution to give you anything else than its current level... So the second oscillator with a saw shape is exactly what I would have done despite the apparent funkyness...
Maybe it would be possible to add this as an output to the oscillator if it's useful for enough people, @Christoph-Hart ?
