Mac Installer issues..again(sigh)

OK so we have our own HISE-built installer that works across Windows and MacOS, and works pretty seamlessly to be honest...but:
I have a user on MacOS 12.6 on an M1 Mac...
Our installer is reporting "Permission Denied" when attempting to unzip the plugin to the folder:
User//Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
its the same for two different product installers - so huh at least its consistent.
He tells me he has set up permissions on the folder correctly, does anyone know what this should look like in the about dialog for the folder?
Or has anyone else seen this problem?
