@DabDab I'm not in front of my computer right now but you just have to modify the x/y values in the LAF to go from vertical to horizontal.
Watch this one and you'll understand the principle :

Edit : it doesn't matter that this one is about knobs and sliders, the way of scripting the LAF is the same.
