      Hi guys and gals,

      Has any of you had any problems installing the IPP on your new M1 Macs?

      I've installed the IPP by using One API Base toolKit , but then I can't find the location of the IPP files anywhere and when compiling Hise its gives me an error saying " ipp.h file not found"

      anyone had this problem?

      I'm using Macbook Pro M1 pro - MacOs 12.4

      I'm complete beginner using Hise so be gentle.

      cheers

        Don't use IPP on a Mac, it's not needed.

            @Casey-Kolb Apple has its own FFT library which is just as good, this is enabled by default in HISE .jucer files.

              ahh @d-healey, you are an absolute genius. thanks for your quick response.
              Starting to watch your videos.

              I'll take off the FFT library also .

              now the "only" problem that seems to happen is when I do the Build for Profiling it gives me this error:

              "LLVM ERROR: SmallVector unable to grow. Requested capacity (4294967296) is larger than maximum value for size type (4294967295)
              clang: error: unable to execute command: Abort trap: 6
              clang: error: linker command failed due to signal (use -v to see invocation)
              Command Ld failed with a nonzero exit code"

              the Build for Running works though.

              I've been googling about this and it seems to be very weird and difficult to pinpoint problem.

              cheers for the help.

                @Stinni Downgrade xcode to 13.1

                    @d-healey

                    And we're rolling.

                    Xcode 13.1 worked like a charm.

                    thanks for your help and fast responses.
