It is already possible.

You can assign a modulator with the "Macro Modulation Source".

I use the Global Modulator and linked it to the Macro Modulation Source

Sadly for me the Macro Modulation sources are very very very unreliable - and break a lot of things and crash a lot....in large projects

Interesting. Are you getting the crashes in multiple instances?
Currently I am using the below way. The number tag is also broken, it doesn't show up.

Interesting. Are you getting the crashes in multiple instances?

yes it crashes often and a lot - I think its because the UI is pretty heavy as it stands (many hundreds of widgets) and HISE isnt good at this sort of thing when you add in dynamically changing (modulated) widgets.....

@orange - plus its massively unintuitive - I still for the life of me cant work out how to get modulation around a specific value - so in your example - try getting the control to modulate quickly between 0 and 25% - not possible to do I think - whihc leads me to the opinion that macro modulators are not meant for this sort of thing - and a dedicated modulator is what is required....
