Im trying to understand a little more about how HISE can be used as a commercial standalone sample library.

One thing with Kontakt Player is not being able to have easily updatable instruments.
For example a user buys a "Violin Library" and then they could buy the "Viola library pack" or "Violin Bonus pack" and all be in the same menu/tab/instrument. Of course going through NI player and reencoding or having a complicated way via native access is doable but im seeing it as too expensive and cumbersome.

Can Hise as a VST do this? or what would be the process to have add on packs thats easy for users?
Something along the lines of dropping a folder (with the new pack) inside an existing sample content folder and when opening the commercial vst, itll show up.
And how could the security/serial work in this case?

      Hope that makes sense.
