So I have my user selecting a directory to install sounds into - I'd like to check the available space on the volume, but File.getBytesFreeOnVolume - only works for files, and Directories are not files...any way to check bytes free without creating some empty check file?

Returns the number of bytes free on the drive that this file lives on.

File.getBytesFreeOnVolume()
