Level matching

Is there a way of level match in a plug-in within hise, for example to match the input to the output (play a track through and automatically level match the incoming signal to not fool our brains of louder is better)?

I hope I ask the right question.

@Jay Might be able to do it with an FX plugin using scriptnode.

@d-healey I'm haven't been working with scriptnode so any example will be a good starting point for me, if anyone has the time to do it.
