Where to Find Impulse Responses for Engine
-
Quick question for everyone: Where do you typically find your impulse responses for your HISE plugins? I'm hoping to add some more to our engine, but licensing is tricky.

You can always make your own ;) I did a similar thing for my Cabinet IRs for NEAT

I made my own. I've also licensed some to other devs ;)
These ones where all created artificially - https://xtant-audio.com/product-category/impulse-responses/ - if you're interested in licensing any, let me know. I also have a bunch of real ones I recorded in an orchestral hall.

@Casey-Kolb Hey Casey. I suppose you’re looking for reverb-style IRs? Otherwise, what I love doing, is just using all kinds of wav-files for creative convolution effects! Preferably shorter and transient-y files… but longer and different files can also wield interesting results.

@d-healey We're actually using a handful of yours currently! We licensed them from you a while back
They're working super well, and we want to expand the IR arsenal a bit.
@UrsBollhalder Definitely reverb-style, though creative IRs can be fun too. They're a bit hard to wrangle sometime,s but worth exploring I'm sure. I really like some of Omnisphere's creative IRs. We're open to licensing more if anyone has some good options.

So you did! My brain farted.
