Cannot open include file: 'ipp.g' on build

Getting this when I try to build the latest version of HISE. Installed Visual Studio 2017 and everything as recommended, as well as the IPP stuff linked on Github. This happens both with and without USE_IPP enabled Reinstalled 3 times now, clueless of where to look next. Anyone else had this problem? -
Set USE_IPP=0 and also disable IPP in the module section under hi_core.
-
@d-healey Thanks, already done in the hi_core module, where is USE_IPP ?
-
-
@dustbro omg thank you. Browsed through every subsection a hundred times but didn't realize there were options on the main tab. Seems like it worked!
-
So I ran into another issue trying to export as VST:
I spot IPP there again among some other stuff. Directory in the settings is set to the same folder I made the build from. Any ideas?
-
I'm just using the simple reverb btw (read something about the convolution reverb benefiting from ipp)
-
@blezzbeats Which version of HISE?
-
@MikeB Latest build
I found the IPP button in the settings too which seemed to get rid of some error messages but still get many like these:
-
@blezzbeats Latest build is what?
-
@MikeB Mac oder PC?
-
Just leave the ipp out for now - if you don't have Covulution Reverb or Audio Analyser you don't need it anyway.
If it works without the ipp, fine - if not, you can keep looking for the error.
-
@MikeB Version 2.1.0, Build version 650, PC.
I turned IPP off compiling HISE yesterday and I also turned it off here:
Is there anything else I should check off?
-
@blezzbeats Which date? - if you click on the HISE logo in the upper left corner you will get the precise information about the version.
Attached screens where ipp on/off
Is this the same for Mac/PC -
@MikeB Yep took care of both those when I built yesterday, Build time says 19 Sep 2021
-
@blezzbeats You took care of them when you built HISE. Now you have to take care of them for building your project ;)
-
@d-healey Any clue where to start? Lol, the settings above (Use IPP disabled in compiler settings) are correct at least? And I'm sure I don't use the convolution reverb or anything like that. I'm totally lost.
-
Wait wait wait, do I have to compile "plugin" as well is what you're almost saying?
-
@blezzbeats
I think we are talking at cross purposes - which of these versions did you use?
• master
• new_layout
• develop
? -
@blezzbeats In your project preferences there is a box called Extra Definitions Windows. You need to put USE_IPP=0. And as MikeB said you should be using the develop branch. The master branch is ancient.
