(with gamepad compatibilty)
Digital+Analog layering
Automation inside the pluginExplain?
-
X-Y Controller in FL Studio has this feature. You can connect a gamepad to
control with a joystick and this is useful for perform fx (I wish I could use both joysticks for two pads) :DAnalog Dreams for Kontakt has A and B layers, one for digital sound and one for analog. There was another plugin with something like this but I can't find it.
An example is mixing a synth with a sampler.
Massive is a good example for how to "automate" the sound.
You can easily connect an env or lfo to a knob.
An option for real automation
Something like the clips in FL, but better.
(Changing the affected parameter should be easier)
But you can create those clips for almost anything.
I use this in any production to make my music become alive.More power as just using env and lfo :)
Of course I could stick with the DAW but imagine... -
Except for the layering possibly, I don't think we'll have those features.
-
@d-healey Yeah..the last one is far away. But you asked for explanation :)
And X-Y pads without gamepad are also fine. -
-
@d-healey This is why it's written in brackets.
Not a priority, but a welcome feature to me. -
-
@DanH You're right! Imagine people saying:
oh look at this preset browser!
the plugins x,y,z are also using it. guess they use the same tool to build itWould like to go fully custom, at least with visible elements.
This browser is really useful to me:
It also has a list, which opens by clicking the preset name on top. (never used it)
Just an example of my personal taste. Wouldn't clone this one-to-one,
but I would like something similiar to this for the synth. -

What's wrong with that?
-
@d-healey Nothing wrong with that. It's just a bit like a watermark.
But one with a pretty good design :)
I like the one we have, but the search bar is to wide, depending on the font and fontsize you are using. -
@UD-AUDIO You can customise it with LAF
-
@d-healey Hi :) Hope you're fine!
I would like to begin, but maybe the team should be complete - at least for the start. What do you think? -
What do you think?
I'm still not sure what we're making, a synth? We need a bullet list of features and functionality - keep it simple.
-
@d-healey said in - keep it simple.
Because it gets complicated by itself :-)

-
@d-healey I'm also not sure. Yes, simplicity is the key.
We can update later for going advanced if we want to.
It's not that I wouldn't have any other ideas,
but for some reason I stick with the synth/bass synth idea.
I love reese, moog and other special types of bass.Would you prefer a functional plugin?
-
@MikeB I just don't like to leave someone behind :)

A synth is fine with me, but if it requires scriptnode them there's not much I can do.
-
@d-healey Yeah, same!
WIth scriptnode I could do nothing more as testing and giving feedback.
Would have to get used to it first.. -

We are all always here - we live here (I think sometimes) :-) :-) :-)
