      Good Morning from Berlin

A few questions that have kept me busy over the last few days.

      1. is it possible to script a running light in HISE that corresponds to the flashing of the arpeggiator?

      2. what is the parameter "packBg" in the arpeggiator?

      3. why can't the main workspace in HIS remember/save the last connection?
After each crash or opening, you have to manually set the connection for each individual window again to the interface.

      4. if the plug-in user has the option of throwing samples into the AudioLoopPlayer himself,
Where are these then stored? And are they then called up again with a saved user preset?

      5. when I edit an included script in an external editor, two things happen

        1. if I save it and then click on Compile in HISE, the changes are applied to the HISE script.

        2. when I save it and then click on Compile in HISE, the script is reset to the last state in HISE.

Sometimes it is 1 sometimes 2 - I haven't figured out yet how to avoid 2.

@MikeB Funny, I was thinking about No. 1 as well yesterday. You'd probably have to make a little function running a timer (doing some stuff with gradient/blurring and whatnot) that gets triggered by the main timer... But I haven't tried it out yet myself...

If you have opened the external file in a HISE editor, then it will write the current file content back to the file on compilation, so it might revert the changes you did externally.

            1. Yes, use the Arps CurrentValue in a timer and use paint routines in a panel.

            short example:

Awesome! Is it possible to get and set the values from an arpeggiator also for the velocity?? Or is hooking up hidden slider packs the only option for that?

@UrsBollhalder I think it's only possible to hook up a slider pack for that purpose, at least what I know

After each crash or opening, you have to manually set the connection for each individual window again to the interface.

A solution is to use a Global Script Connector tile. So even if it still lose the connection, you only need need one click to connect everything...

@MikeB Use a custom workspace, F6 to activate the layout mode, and right-click to add vertical/horizontal tiles, redimension, exit layout mode with F6, right-click in each tile and add what you want...

@ustk THanks - but I already tried that - months ago.
It's also empty after every crash or opening.

The Global Connector makes sense - but I have just tried
                          I can't get a master tile.

Do you have a screenshot of your empty workspace?
or how do you get the master tile created.

@MikeB Yeah it will be empty anyway after a crash or closing, but with it, you get a one-click recall:

Great - thank you - now I've figured it out thanks to your video.
Finally I can use my 40" monitor properly.

After I saved the JSON, everything is there now even after opening it - great!
                              without any click
