Importing snippets breaks my project

Anyone know a quick fix for this one? I can open older XML presets of the project but the latest one just has no UI after importing a snippet to check something...

Ok idk what's going on, if I open an older XML preset, it has all of the new code...
Edit: MOST of the new code... it's like importing a hise snippet just randomly took chunks out of my project

Importing a snippet should replace the current project preset

well i'm obviously not importing any snippets anytime soon, this seems to have seriously bricked my project and all of the older presets as well
all of the code & modules are still there but it can't find any of the GUI elements I added with the GUI editor, i assume importing the snippet somehow changed the UIData for the preset or something...

@iamlamprey Importing a snippet has no effect on your project as far as I know. It's like opening a .hip archive, everything is self contained.

is there a way to "refresh" the xmlpreset to make sure it's loading the right UIData file? all of the elements are still referenced and titled properly there so I think the preset is somehow reading the wrong thing
