Combining Two Sounds and Removing Phasing....

Is it possible to take, say, two separate piano or electric piano sounds and use scripting to remove the phasing from them, in order to create a totally new sound? I guess the question is, can the sound of dissimilarities and phasing be quantified with math?

Yes, this is possible, but highly complex and subject of many proprietary algorithms. The problem is to resynthesise the samples without loosing the sonic quality.
