Which kind of sample based instruments
-
Just a general question for all those sample library developers :)
Which kind of music do you listen and which kind of sample based instruments are you building?
-
I listen to all kinds of music but mostly film scores. I also like jazz, country, "classical", rock, lots of stuff.
I tend to build sample libraries of acoustic instruments, although I have done a few synths. At the moment I'm working mainly with orchestral instruments and some world/ethnic ones.

I write metal/rock/electronic hybrid stuff and make instruments to suit my own needs, such as guitars/bass/synths.
Basically if someone else's instruments don't fit my purpose I just try and make my own :)

Ethnic instruments has been always interesting to me. Specifically ehnic wood instruments. With hise it is possible to make almost any kind of sample based instruments which is a really cool thing. I looked at your products, really stunning high quality work. Congrats!
I like to listen all the good stuff too.

Mostly I listen epic cinematic music. In the future I really like to publish cinematic libraries. Also I am a big fan of "2 Steps From Hell" and Hans Zimmer :)
Take Listen to this, what an amazing composition.... :)

I am a musician and i try to keep as a broader spectrum of listening to music materials as possible, but my favs are jazz, orchestral and contemporary classics and some of the stuff in electronic genres.
Living in a quite poor country which has many problems especialy in arts and education made me think about building instruments and tools that are free and open source and available to anyone. HISE seemed to be a perfect platform for this especialy since i have none of programming background or knowledge..
Some of the instruments i'm building and developing are at musictop69.wixsite.com/orchestools and these two videos bellow are demo/teaser of the instrument i'm building right now for a FREE PUBLIC ORCHESTRA idea i'm trying to develop!
