Hey all, maybe I'm missing something really obvious, but in my version of HISE 2.1.0, there isn't an option for "Filter" in the dropdown for the "Empty Slot" FX module. Can this only be used outside of Empty Slots?

      Thanks,

@d-healey @Lunacy-Audio I remember this has been mentioned a long time ago. I think it's because a filter has to be first it the chain. So obviously having it available in an FxSlot would break the rule I imagine…

I don't know if it has to be this way or if a fix can make the Filter available everywhere…

A simple workaround until then is to use a ScriptFX

Can't help pressing F5 in the forum...

Hm, that's an interesting choice. I can imagine lots of scenarios where you'd want the filter to be at the very end of the chain, like if you wanted it to filter out the delay and reverb in addition to the sound source, etc. I'm sure there's some deeper reason for this limitation, but yes, ScriptFX it is for the time being! Thanks.
