@hisefilo Are you really sure it's gain4? It's the node that makes level deviation of the horn's left doppler
-
@hisefilo If you do that you risk to kill the left/right balance... What do you want to achieve in the end?
-
@hisefilo Please do not use the smoothing in the gain node, very important!
Better to change the mod range value here! -
@ustk I did't touch anything. just turned off this guy.
But I get the same (or similar result backing stereo with to 100% for main gain module. (was 200%)
-
@hisefilo If you do that it's only modulating the right channel now...
-
@ustk Do you just want to reduce the overall horn level deviation? (stereo amount)
If it's the case there's a much better way ;) -
@ustk yes!! I guess turning back width to 100% does the trick, right?
-
@hisefilo Yes of course! if you don't turn off gain4... please don't do that...
-
@ustk Deal!
just turning back this width to 100%
-
@ustk In my opinoin the 200% width was the cause of many issues, like @lalalandsynth mentioned for the click/perc
-
@hisefilo To be honest in the tests I realized, 200% was a bit too much but 140-150 is a good compromise. Maybe not necessary to go back to 100%...
-
@ustk great!!!! I just did that some time ago to improve width. Now leslies does it :)

@hisefilo And in the garageband plugin, I noticed that the stereo is enhanced quite a lot... Too much? I don't know because it sounds good anyway...
-
@ustk Yes, noticed the same.... but I like it.... maybe it's better to test on Logic
-
@hisefilo Absolutely ;)
Also when working with stereo and phase, we quickly lose objectivity, therefore, it's important to check often in mono in order to reset the ears.
I compulsively hit my mono button on the monitoring controller -

Noted that now!!! hehhehehehe
-
@hisefilo Do you push a new version with gain4 back and new gain width?
-
@ustk yes. in a few minutes
-
@hisefilo Sorry I'm too excited
