Couple of questions to finish the GUI.
1 . The Leslie, dont think I can call it Leslie , so Rotary ?
2. Have the tonewheel leak a linear knob or 5 settings (Age)? Need to decide that as I will have to change the graphics to accomodate the Age settings , so its simpler to leave as is , but cooler to make it a 5 setting age thing.?
3. I could change the main top pic to include or exclude the "leslie" when it is turned off/on , or just leave it as one pic ? -
- Yes. Let's do Rotary (Leslie is trademarked)
- No steps in my opinion. and LEAKAGE for label (I feel AGE label not honest)
- Will be a nice touch :)
-
@hisefilo ok !
As for #2 , so skip the Tonewheels label and replace it with Leakage .
-
@d-healey @lalalandsynth @ustk reverb, chorus buttons? also I guess remaining DSP modula can do the "Chorus"thing?
-
@hisefilo I think it would be great to have a reverb .
I could make an vintage reverb appear on the top pic and make an gui on the lower panel for a reverb .
So switching from the Organ gui to a reverb gui.I have some spring reverb Impulses. ?
up to you guys :)
-
@lalalandsynth I don't mean to do more job. just to add a knob. But is up to you !!!!
Logo and font (May we use that font everywhere?)
logo-and-fonts.zip -
@d-healey Sir..... may you can compile a Linux version later?
-
@hisefilo So just a one knob Chorus ? or one knob reverb ?I dont think I can add a knob easily to the Organ gui , of course possible but would need some changes to the gui to fit it in there.
EDIT:
Actually, I could add 2 small knobs here if I skip the Power button which is redundant anyways. Assuming we would add a simple one knob chorus , reverb.

Logo and font (May we use that font everywhere?)
logo-and-fonts.zipI can check , I am using Calibri , which comes with Windows so I am pretty sure about that but will check
-
This is possible and looks nice.
-
@lalalandsynth Yes. One button each.
-
@lalalandsynth cool!!! looks good to me
-
I just tried out the patch. Sounds awesome!
I'm getting 47 voices for 1 note though and 20% CPU (9% at idle), is that what you're seeing? Max CPU I've hit is about 32% but still seems on the high side.
-
@d-healey try compiled. I had 2% on my last try a few days ago
-
@hisefilo Yeah I was just running in HISE. Do you see the same as me in HISE?
-
-
@d-healey 24 keys pressed on Reaper
-
hmm, maybe I'm running a debug build, I'll have to check
-
@d-healey and this is just an i5
-
@d-healey I get the same CPU charge in Hise, but it looks good once compiled…
That's weird, I get a higher CPU charge than @hisefilo with an i7 3.4. And I'm sure not to use the debug version
In Hise, one note gives 8-10%, in Ableton, idle is 4%, then 1% per note played
Still, the project is a beast to load, it might be possible to lighten the code once we're good with the rest…@hisefilo The about page is cool, I like that! :)
@lalalandsynth A simple reverb why not! ;)
As for the name, another idea could be CollaB3, but BFree is probably better
We need not to forget the license in the about section
The Rotary speaker still have some glitches when changing speed, but this might be fixed later with Hise3, I'll check that anyway because I don't like the workaround I've made…
