@lalalandsynth @ustk I'll be back later and read everything. Family time
-
@hisefilo Fixed the chorus switch and pushed.
-
@lalalandsynth @ustk @d-healey this is awesome!!!! I mean, we did a beautiful instrument. And remaining tweaks are just a few. Super super happy with it. I can tell this will be super appreciated by many many people :)
Tomorrow will do an Arturia/Logic/Collab comparison.... to see were we are. SO far I can tell I love how it feels (Maybe a more gritty/saturated upper register on leslie on) -
Minor thing, Preset window should probably only have presets and not bank or category.
And maybe upper right corner should say "Make music. #Stay home" ?
-
Small shadow fix on chorus button pushed.
Changed the mouse sensitivity on rotary switch , also changed to horizontal.EDIT: Fixed the rotary switch shadow
-
@lalalandsynth Used in a track the Leslie is very phasey ...not entirely sure if its supposed to sound like that , especially at slower speeds , the stereo image is quite phased. Null test or mono and the bottom end is gone.
Also , just with no chorus or Rotary ,it sounds stereo ? the keyclicks are panned , almost like its mic-ed like a piano.
Looks like there is some panning on the Clicknoise in the HISE project so, probably intentional but does not sound right.

I agree, but "bank" is mandatory (you can have either 2 or 3 columns)
I'm on it...And maybe upper right corner should say "Make music. #Stay home" ?
Dave suggested #STAYHOME, MAKE MUSIC.
Also, just with no chorus or Rotary ,it sounds stereo ?
I think it was intentional, don't know if it's a good or thing though...
Changed the mouse sensitivity on rotary switch
I will do that for the Leslie switch too...
Null test or mono and the bottom end is gone.
I will make the low end more mono then...
-
"I will do that for the Leslie switch too..."
I meant for the Leslie switch :) So...done.
-
I am trying to find out why is sounds stereo when no leslie , no click and no chorus , cannot find any panning . But I can see the perc 2nd and 3rd are panned.
-
@lalalandsynth I've just noticed :)
-
@lalalandsynth I know @hisefilo has panned some modules, but maybe we should let this part to him?
I don't want to mess up the patch -
@lalalandsynth Is it normal that to have the chorus on/off upside down?
-
Ok, just to gather my observations in on post.
Exported as VSt and playing in Reaper.-
Click panning is weird.
-
Leslie is phase-y , especially at 1. - EDIT -Changed need to test again
-
With no chorus , no leslie, its still stereo , it might be the 2nd 3rd as they are panned and not sure if I am shutting them of with the Perc knob as that is assigned to keyclick.
-
Keyclick might be too loud, optimal solution , make it settable via knob.
Or maybe it just too noticable panned like that ? -
Leakage noise is weird , especially when you max it , not very helpful comment , not sure how it should sound ?
-
Chorus sounds great and is mono compatible.
-
Reverb is nice.
8. I get audio dropouts when switching the PERC switch.
-
Sounds lovely with Leslie at 1 and Chorus ! Yummy !
-
100% Gui size feels a bit large on my monitor. 1920 x1080, definite switch to 75% for me. ?

Depends , did you pull the latest version , it is now ON when the switch points down. Which I felt was correct ?
-
@lalalandsynth Yes of course last version.
That's what I find weird, generally ON pos convention is UP, but it might be inverted on an organ... -
@ustk oh ok, I can change it back :) Was like that , but felt wrong .
Do you think we need an led indicator ? -
@lalalandsynth Don't change anything, simple solution is just to change the
parameterId
to bypass instead of enable...EDIT: Done...
-
@ustk Quick question.
How best to keep pushing and pulling stuff when I have exported as vst and now have build folder in my project ?
Do I remove that , or is it removed when I pull or how does that work ? -
@lalalandsynth I've just checked the Leslie phase, it's mono-compatible on my system...
Tested on monitors and headphones via a monitoring controller.Their just a "normal" level change due to rotation, but it might be too obvious...
Also, there's a drop in level when the Leslie's ON, so this along with the level change might make a weird effect?
-
@lalalandsynth What I tend to do is to select everything I don't want to push in the changes list, and discard them...
We should use gitIgnore, but if you delete the folder (I do it quite often), they come back in the changes list. So discard is easier to me...
