@lalalandsynth @hisefilo Now I removed all the redundant DefaultEnvelope modules in the perc section
Consequently, I adjusted the Keyclick gains, And the PERC level seems better too
I need you to tell guys ;) -

@ustk LOL.... did the same. will discard my local changes heheheh
Perc buttons sorted and pushed.
Oups... Sorry mate
-
@lalalandsynth Yes, going step by step :)
Panning: I like stereo (mono is just a lie. you never in the life will hear something mono unless a recording or bad sampling). EDIT: or if you have lost an ear in war :)
I prefer some panning on some parts of the timbre. What do you think? -

-
@hisefilo I mean panning on the keyclick and perc , that sounds weird.
-
@lalalandsynth Yes, to test for the perc/click levels at least (I haven't touched the pan)
-
@ustk Ok, will pull, export and test ....maybe we should address/fix this pan thing first ?

yeah, will be the best. so we can compare

@hisefilo @lalalandsynth I agree that real life isn't mono so having a bit of asymmetry is definitely a good thing. But the amount might need to be fine-tuned...

absolutely
-
@hisefilo @lalalandsynth Ok so the Click is still too loud
It needs to be someone else more qualified than me to tune it...
Maybe the tone as well... It a bit too clicky maybe? Too bright? don't know... -
@hisefilo IMPORTANT: If we want to do many changes, we need to take it one by one, or be prepared for huge GIT merges (a pain in the ass)
So.... let's one by one?
also... you can do local versions saving it as _local.[name of the xml] and wont be pushed. it's ignored on .gitignore then you can manually apply the tweaks before pushing..
what do you think?
-
ok, but click in mono ? It gets so prominent when its tilted to one side.
In my opinion , cut the top end a bit on the click. -

yes!!! will do that. on my turn :)
-
Maybe its better if one person does these final tweaks ?
Dont know what is the best procedure :P -
or do it! no problem, I mean we need to avoid merges

LOL @ustk any experience on this. I don't know really....
-
@hisefilo @lalalandsynth OK guys I stay in the back for a moment then.
And my wife needs my muscles in the garden anyway -
@ustk :)
-
@lalalandsynth the will pull your changes and do mines... is that ok??
