Preset Popup ?

I was wondering if I could customize the preset selector ?
I would like to be able to change the color, size etc .

Also wonder if I could change the structure , I dont always want the banks, catagorys etc.
Maybe be able to have a small "preset" window/graphic that when pushed it will open a popup/window with the preset manager.

Anyone have any examples ?
At one point I found this in an example somewhere but cannot remember.
