Lottie animation doesn't recall the last frame...



  • @Christoph-Hart Lottie animation as a strange behaviour when your associated value is set all the way up (100%)

    in my example, I have 50 frames. So the object data numFrames is 49
    Although when the knob is all the way up, the watchTable shows the currentFrame 49 which is what we want.
    But if you recompile, the frame is empty in the panel (currentFrame is still 49 though, it just doesn't show up...)

    I tried with different Lottie files...

  • @ustk It seems the animation is not animated at all between value 48 -49, are you sure the animation is 50 frames?



  • @ulrik That's what I thought at first, but when value is 1, currentFrame is 49, and it shows as expected... It's only when recompiling that the last frame disappears... But I agree it's strange, frame 48 and 49 seem to be identical...

  • @ulrik Yep I think there's an initialisation issue somewhere (0 instead of 1 or vice versa...)
    I know Christoph said he'll be busy these weeks, so we'll see that later...



  • I am guestimating that this might be a bug from the rLottie framework that HISE uses https://github.com/Samsung/rlottie.
    There have been updates and bug fixes on the framework since @Christoph-Hart implemented it, so if somehow it's not been updated for HISE then it could possibly do the trick 🤞🏼
