What could be a good addition would be how to output a filmstrip in Blender, that I haven't found online yet.

@ustk After approximately 12h learning blender, here's the first test sample:
Far from perfect as the perfection lies in the details, along with the devil :)
But I am reassured now...
Any suggestion is welcome! -
@ustk Looks like 12 hours well spent. I await your tutorial :)

@d-healey I fact everything needed is already in these excellent tutos:
I only watched the first level of this one:

https://youtu.be/muwr7cyyYjI@orange Thanks! But it all came in my mind without having a particular model in front of me, just the memory of a knob I was using in my job a while ago :)

@ustk pretty cool! :)

@ustk Well done!

@arminh @dustbro What do you guys are using to stitch the images in a filmstrip, Blender? External soft? (on Mac)
I'm trying with blender but I don't understand how to output the frames side by side in a png (if blender can) -

I'm trying with blender but I don't understand how to output the frames side by side in a png (if blender can)You can use Strip Generator ;)
It's not a plugin for Blender, it is an external app. Just render the scene as image sequence in Blender. Then use the Strip Generator for stitching the images as vertical or horizontal strips, it is done :)

@orange Thanks! Checking right now :)
-
@ustk I'm using Inkscape to stitch them together
-
@dustbro Thanks man, I generally use Inkscape too, despite that on mac it's a real pain... Strip Generator @orange talked about is an easy peasy tool! Open it, choose you images folder, done...
-
@ustk it definitely looks way easier. Downloading now

@dustbro Yeah mate :) Thanks to Waves Factory for giving this magical tool to everyone, and also free :)
If you use After Effects, there is another useful tool for stitching images. Sheetah. Name your price thing :)
