@Lindon
And where is my source code? :DD Is it hise 2.1.0 or hise-master or something else? :DD
I must admit that I am so confused by all of this. :DD
Edit: I am doing this VST for my school graduation project, After I finish, I'll post it for free for everyone. ;) :D -
@Dlukas7 well it depends on what you downloaded and called it: Hise-Master if you downloaded the master branch or HISE-scriptnode if you wanted a more up to date version.
-
I have this folder where I put all my hise things. Is it possible to just use this folder as path?
-
@Lindon
Ok I tried all I could but only 2 folders have source code (at least thats what hise says).
But even if I choose HISE-master or Hise-2.1.0, it doesnt work. So what do I have to do? -
@Dlukas7 post a screen shot of your preferences panel
-
@Lindon
is this enough or you want the whole thing? -
@Dlukas7 enough.. so you have downloaded HISE Master and renamed it HISE-2.0.1 yes?
-
@Lindon ¨
nope, I downloaded older version (not knowing its an older version), than I downloaded HISE master, cause I saw it in a video and tried to fix other problems, then I deleted the older version (but not hise master), because I was told its an older version and so I downloaded the 2.1.0 version and used my VS2017, loaded hise 2.1.0 and made it work to this point -
@Dlukas7 err... I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a folder called HISE-Master? Did you build HISE from that folder?
-
@Lindon no, I builded from the HISE-2.1.0
-
@Dlukas7 OK go watch Dave's "How to build HISE" video.
when you are done go download HISE-scriptnode and build HISE from that.
If you dont know how to get "HISE-scriptnode" just ask.
Oh what the...
Go here:
https://github.com/christophhart/HISE/tree/scriptnode
downlaod and uncompress the Zip to your desktop.
-
@Lindon
I should download all of it? (making sure of it)
And because of the "what the..." I guess there is something horribly wrong :D -
@Dlukas7 no thats just me saying what the - I may as well have just pointed you at the place instead of saying "just ask.."
So yes - go to the location and get the zip file. (clone or download button in green)
-
Once you've down loaded it unzip it and open it, go to
HISE-scriptnode>tools>SDK
and take a screen shot and post it here.
-
-
@Dlukas7 right uzip the contents of sdk.zip
- it may ask you for a pass word, the password is NOT: 1234 - but(hint) everything is backwards in the zip world...:-)
when you've done that post another screenshot..
-
@Lindon
Done, btw funny :D
-
@Dlukas7 OK you are ready to build the latest and greatest version of HISE, do you know how ot do that? - Daves video?
If yes then BEFORE you do so take your latest shortcut to HISE tyou ar eusing and bin it. and move HISE.exe you've built already and move it somewhere you wont accidently clcik on...
-
OK I have to go walk the dog... and you seem to be busy so I'll assume you are compiling HISE.
Once you have a success message from VisualStudio 2017 go to:
hise-navod>HISE-scriptnode>projects>standalone>Builds>VisualStudio2017>x64>Release>App
in there you will see
HISE.exe
--- this is the version to use, create a shortcut on your desktop that points at this exe
open HISE and screencap the development preferences again:
-
@Lindon ok, thanks dawg
after the compiling, I had this message, dont know what to do so I ll click yes and hope for the best :D
