Ok so I want some way to add vibrato with (say) the mod wheel.

I create a Pitch Modulation on my sampler, lets say a sine wave.... but as we know this has a (cough) foible that means I need to also add a constant offset, if I also want to use some sort of MIDI modulator to set intensity.....
So I do want to modulate the depth of this vibrato. Again no problem I can do that I have an LFO intensity mod where I can add a MIDI Modulator...... as soon as I add this and turn it OFF then we run into the problem of the pitch being wrong - so we have to add in our constant. So I add this constant

So now I can modulate the depth of my vibrato as long as I set the constant to exactly the opposite of the value in the modulator.... This works great, ...well not really

Now the vibrato no longer modulates around the note frequency but instead modulates just below it....

OK so I'm clearly not using the right model - what am I doing wrong? I want a vibrato on my sampler - that modulates around the frequency of the note played AND that I can set the depth for....

@Lindon On your LFO click the little arrow next to the intensity slider so that it just points up.
