Harmonic filter and sampler
-
Currently, the setup is simple
one sampler with only one sample spread across the whole range
A harmonic filterIt works well, but the problem is that if I press a chord, the sample is obviously triggered 3 times, and creates phase issues.
What I want to achieve is triggering only once the sample, but keep the harmonics of the chord I pressed.
I played around with the voices limit setting and tried the audio loop player, but of course, when a note is killed, the voice in the harmonic filter is killed too...I hope this makes sense (sample triggered only once, but keep several notes in the harmonic filter), even if I don't think it is possible...

Oh that's a bit tricky - the harmonic filter just operates on a single voice and there's no way that you apply "filter" voices on one sample voice.
-
Humm.... that's what I thought...
In the same way and for other reasons, I don't think it's possible to apply the Harmonic Filter to an audio feed (I have VST FX in mind), isn't it?And what about delaying the right amount so there're no phase issues?
-
Also, is it possible you make the Q control to be real time in the H.Filter, like, based on 5 votes?
EDIT: Humm... with 1e-2 resolution
-
The Harmonic Filter makes the sampler to lose the stereo capability, everything becomes mono...
