      In a send effect, if you set the channel to 0, it will go to the first and second channel (0/1) of the effect. Sounds reasonable to us programmers but the routing matrix doesn't have a channel 0, it starts at channel 1.

      So naturally as a newbie, if you want your audio to go to channel 1 and 2 that you see in the routing matrix, you set the send effect's channel to 1, and then confusion happens.
