Combobox to PresetBrowser always desyncing and going to the wrong sample map

So @David-Healey I watched your video on the combobox to the presetbrowser and i followed it step by step but I have a vst im making with 300+ sounds n whenever i save 2+ sounds to say the lead or synth or any other catagory, it desyncs all the other presets and when i go back to them they are routed to a completely different sample map than i saved them as please help me fix this as saving them as the correct sample maps repeatdly is irritating me and is tedious. Please someone help me

Each time you add a new entry the indexes will shift. Do a search of the forum and you'll find some solutions.

One of the simplest is to use the item's text instead of the combobox value, but that isn't always suitable, it depends on how you have things setup.
