Notes off by half step when using Arpeggiator

I added an arpeggiator to my waveform synth. It all works fine except when I bring it in to my DAW, the notes when I play thru the ARP are off by a half step. Meaning if I play a C then the ARP plays a C# with the Note Numbers sliderpack set to 0. However if i set the Notes Number sliderpack to +/- 12 or 24, it plays the correct note, just an octave up or down. I have the Notes Number sliderpack set for the default of 0 and min to -24 and the max to +24. If I turn the ARP off the WF synth plays the right note. I tried setting the NN to 1 but I get the same result. This my first time implementing an Arpeggiator. Any ideas?

So I solved the problem for now by setting the Notes Number slider Pack to Step Sequencer mode and the min max settings to +/- 12. I didn't figure out the problem but this works for now. Thx

So I decided to revisit my problem. I first created a very simple arpeggiator and it worked fine without using the Step Sequencer mode on the Notes Number slider pack. So I decided to revisit the same synth arp that didn't work and removed the Step Sequencer mode on the NN SP and it worked. The notes come out as expected, eg. C is a C and not a C#. I am not sure why it didn't the first time, but I am happy now.
