Using Gain knobs
-
If I have a gain knob for my FX plugin, will the gain not let any audio through, even when I have a plugin right after this one, will that plugin not get sound?
-
@DJJD12345 Gain knob should allow audio to pass through. How do you have it hooked up? Can you share any script or screenshots to see what you have now?
-
If this isn't right, What parameter do I need to limit how much of the plugin will be outputted

@DJJD12345 try putting the gain last in the chain after ‘encoder’.
-
@Chazrox Makes the audio lower is this what you wanted it to do?
-
@DJJD12345 I may be misunderstanding you. Do you just need a gain knob for the output of this effect? You can explain if im misunderstanding.
-
@Chazrox I need a device that can limit the output of the plugin so when in my DAW the next plugin in the chain still gets audio, or will I have to add a bypass button?
-
@DJJD12345 I think what you need is an A/B button right? If that is what you want, you have to create a Wet/Dry chain then you can switch to Dry signal and allow audio to pass through without FX. There is an example of Wet/Dry chain in the templates in script node.
