So it looks like the latest IPP installer isn't aware of VS 2025

@Nater How are you getting on with VS22?

I was able to build with VS25 and IPP, but I had to enable IPP manually by adding the paths into the project within VS. I followed the instructions here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/ipp/get-started-guide-oneapi-windows/2022-2/overview.html

I think we should continue to use VS22 until IPP has integration with VS25.

VS prompted me to install Platform Toolset 143, which I did. Apart from that I had no other issues.

@David-Healey 2022 was wanting me to install the v145, which I didn't have in my installer. So I'm kinda stuck right now.

@Nater Hmm it's strange that it's trying to use v145 in the first place.

Open the project properties and set the toolset to v143

@David-Healey I changed it to v143 like you said, but now get a hole huge list of errors.

@David-Healey I'm not sure where to find that again. It was the most recent a few days ago.

@Nater That one isn't building for anyone currently. Try the one from the end of November.

@David-Healey git hub makes me feel like the Cave Man Lawyer "these menus confuse and frighten me. I'm just a simple cave man". LOL!!

So I think I just grab a new git code and paste that in somewhere right?

@David-Healey I think that was step one in your video. I know I did it, but don't see Git in my programs. Like I said, I'm a total newbie to windows.

@Nater Ok go to the compiling HISE section of the Bootcamp

When you get to the part where I tell you to write git checkout develop. Instead use git checkout 3f4db538e839a58a8c3f91d2b4773f1b453aa2a7

That's the commit hash from the end of November. If it doesn't work you can keep trying older ones until you find one that builds. Christoph will probably fix the develop branch tomorrow though so you won't need to wait long for the latest.

Remember to clean the build and reopen the project from Projucer when switching commits.

@David-Healey now I'm getting a no space left on device warning... I knew it was low but dang. So it looks like I'm going to need a different computer. This one has a tiny hard drive (60gb) and there was only about 25gb left when I borrowed it. So, back to the drawing board.

Thanks again for all the help.

@Nater Yeah Windows takes a lot of space - I haven't seen a drive that small for years!

@David-Healey they're making more and more of these budget computers these days. They basically have a camera flash drive soldered in as the hard drive. I'm not sure how that's even usable, because there is only about 25gb left after windows. It's almost laughable!
