      Hi everyone

I think this script can be useful for those who wants to use filter without just on top fx chain limitation. This is a biquad filter (LP, HP, LS, HS and Peak modes) and you can use it on wherever you want 🙂

(to apply it, open a Script FX, then go to "onInit" page, Right Click and select "Load Script From File" option. Select this script and press "Compile". Now your GUI controls are on the Interface section of the Script FX unit)

      BIQUAD FILTER - SCRIPT FX.js

      Cheers 😉

This looks very useful, thanks for sharing. Could you add a license note at the top of the file so I know how it can be used? Thanks!

@orange what does a Biquad filter do? What are its uses?
              Thanks in advance!

Biquad filter is one of the most used 2 pole filters.

In this example HighPass, Low Pass, High Shelf, Low Shelf and Peak forms are included. Also I think the Parametric EQ in Hise, consists of this Biquad Filter library. You can use it every time that you need a filter. In Hise, the monophonic filter unit is limited for using the unit only top of the fx chain. If you want to use it at the end of the fx chain, you can't use it. But it is possible with a Script FX Biquad Filter, you can use this filter every fx stage you want.

I will use it for distortion pedals, guitar amp simulations...etc. But again, you can use it on every filter needings 😉

@Win-Conway No. But in monofilter unit, there is a SVF Notch.
