Issues with Sampler
-
So been working on a project that has 100 samples all saved as sample maps in the correct project files etc.
On exporting to vst no issues everything runs through fine, however when loaded in Cubase instantly crashes Cubase. If i walk back a step and remove all sample maps and samples loads in Cubase no problems.
So i decided I will just try it with one sample and sample map, exactly the same issue export runs and completes as expected but fails to open.
since then exiting HISE and coming back to it I can't open the project that has the samples and sample maps in (I saved a preset without them loaded and kept one with) it starts to load and then crashes HISE completely.
Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong or missing project is successfully embedding and recalling a good chunk of audio files and other bits and pieces well but for some reason I can't get the sampler exporting with any samples or sample maps loaded at all on any project either as monolith, monolith +sample maps!
I'm sure its no doubt something trivial that I've missed! Thanks in advance and hopefully someone can give me some pointers or things to investigate.

@JamesC Did you compress the samples to a monolith?
-
@JamesC I believe so
I went to convert all samples to monolith + sample map, but I can't see any conformation of it doing anything.
Then I packaged sample monolith files and ran the export as well as attempting to export without, whenever there are samples of any kind in the samples folder it causes a fatal error in Cubase and I never get the chance to import the samples from the monolith.
As I said before I'm likely missing a step or not completing the steps in the right order, but its now bugging me!

@JamesC I think i missed as step as predicted having found one of your videos on youtube so will test that
