Constant loops w/ Filmstrips
-
Is this possible with filmstrips? I guess what im asking is for a constant loop using filmstrips. Whats the approach?
-
Im referring to the sparkles behind the middle knob just to be clear.
-
@Chazrox Yes (by using one one big image), but Lottie is probably a better choice, as it consumes fewer resources.
-
@clevername27 Lottie... Thats a new word for me! ha. I'll look into it. Be back soon with something hopefully. Thanks.

@Chazrox id suggest filmstrips or glsl since you have the glow around the particles + the alpha mask.
You can use blender since you are familiar with that, just create your pngs bundle them into a sprite sheet and upload that into this filmstrip example:HiseSnippet 1544.3ocuX0zaaaCFlxIJowqsXEnXGGD5I2g.C6jTmFTTDmO6L1bpQUZv1o.FIZahPQJHQmDusdb.62vtt+Aa6zNsi6+vtrK6d+Gz89RIGIE6lD6sNeHvjuevG9xm2GRmNQJOVbrJhXU9vggLh0cscGJ082oOkKIs1kXce61zXMKxIYpsGFRiiY9DKq4dANg0RySLed6laSEToGKaJB4HE2i8k7.tNa1NM+BtPrO0mcHOHm2q0rkmRtiRnF.3YN6ZjPp2ozdrCnnakrIeNMtOw5yrq8jFL15q102mt5p9MZzXimtwZaTm1s1ZzSp2Xi0VYs0W4oq2kXsvd9bsJxUS0rXHoaq7G51WctLYANhGyOQvvA0ItvJmLMYm9bgemQEmXBwZ9NYkp4RJUOztM2me47YkrO1XvIKh7EMqRWGjpOEPxJGjlOAROv10KhGpyrf34iraIgSvtT3rIOTR7kT5Wrr2QAdH0UCnmx1OBFbYDUZTq1xNved7yJWFNeh0NmQib5E37bm8j83RV0dL8KDpSnhWoFn4xdsoR3TKpRwH7nv1BBpW.FvN3nJORnTgOB7Kysy39LUnfNDnbO2YDtvHTAgJILnxiL9fgA4GyS0HVONRR2gJDm.jlJcGH8zbkrxYTw.1iK+skWJWhqFyzGgFRM+rxKU9MK6rU7Po2AJMuK2ihQ+3mMJONJIXf8RYEStJ+lxNW0T2tSzFtChTBAVOlfYrEH55BrhbPvIrnkcx1InivQdQdzB2NdjWRAMmiJYKIW+xPV538UBejefeebVGI8DA3ekRQH3p1v9teJ6yU.k5HBGRxh1lxNw.9Qs5+5u8GaRtUAGGx.njO3e+S+9+bSxqasKUSwdfT3.PLjEo4XkvZW1YfpSRGwR16xhOUqBM3MkAAo9FQ7EYBSecygYC3MOm6q6mMwvl8Y7d804cA3hgt7uAVg6XWqZsZ0vRY1puvMtkeOqty20LbzgQKeiZsICN6+U0A0xHPnD5BZYRjqIQjwEI.4Ik+.AUWTyBUySM.DvBBEnXfLlqGlWseJDxpcsBY2VH9.6NbsW+IiwRS.iHG8C.FSk+um8dc6x7zY.bd68+pYUqu1Tq0WN8rGVSbwKPElfJu0OXmotDFw.1B6PUGPOrRLMHTvdEfwkcNQn7NEotiKIkx71F8nhWepTxDwyhx0B+GcCH4x6azQbniw9fAAtviG7X6jhNXNqRnnUx3Z3XjW3xj9lAuC9jZrNN1J0X8QFyz6HGvzmqhN0bbj9cnOKo1GaJxG28h5jsDB04XyNOkkBmAl45nDCC6qjbObpDOFgzsBTCPkgD3Buy4PJWfzZ2Afffz+kRWvYyiqrl6HVTrIwKhhKUgMRoCT9foE2m5AE1gcnn.0CrQwdfbBW34cIIs.VyySRdkUAyXVG8drjBGf5.iDF7ZL7HqyHMGT2sj0b4zgSHs3HnkrTxR2J9HzpGUPNJQTG1u3pftmtIVHwUOjlcLj8PxX6pHV0blmzlHm4qeSXdX2kPljItbHMBdzQb5cLRlWxYoAjn.68s6YdyywlWfP5TT7MY2Yz7ErKFcY0t7X7AHaO.DNRZqKLCVlj9rKFw81CZe7g6hMgOhOlqhCyc4HXQaykGk+ZV7Sa5EWYtUZ5d4kSYh4tmxNOoLmeV7jXQ6CYvEWjwR8trtzAB8Ul+gMI4vzcFGSucywwTsoDS20tMrx7PAGVjwx+jA1a2bqAZU.H4XttfL8UN.QSEJum8V99Gpb48jY78ap9gW07AGY2090g9PknM1vcqqey.vHS4AaY3Wp.F3mwlh5UNYiqzTVP33SriRttnZAeFW83JIIu9wRK7i+7Kd2XZH2jrWNAjT3ufM9KelndSwNbqqua51xFfa0tlN7jD7usQ5pvcwjjm7NzamP..yaMzyG5e8Sg+86Et4Eve+54EtynfZdA0Fx1J0oATyy.loeFx+KOZIf5EoN1K4cX3d9NlY.lpzPwWxtMN1odweXF9If6yO1yqXpFKvUl0.WcVCbsYMvmLqA1XVCb8YMvmdyAh+mkR6+P9Kz+2Yuj2GXsmD0qLBYj+Afd8bsJ
It only plays if you hit play in your daw or HISE.
Here is the play button:

@Straticah how do I import a snippet without having creating a new project? I want to add this to an already existing project. I've seen people do it before but its not working for me. Gotta be doin something wrong. I really appreciate the help!

You can't, a snippet is a snapshot of an (almost) entire project. You need to load up a second instance of HISE and take the bits across that you need and integrate them into your project.
-
@Chazrox i dont think thats possible...
But you can copy/rebuild all elements from my script. just press j on the buttons and copy that code to your buttons in your project and it should link via the ids.
the scriptnode (scriptfx1) i did is also very basic if you open it up you see its content
If you need help lmk

@Straticah @d-healey Ok. Im gonna do that now. Thanks guys!

Or open the snippet preset browser and load it in it (it's like opening a 2nd session, but quicker)
