Adjusting Sensitivity of Audio Analyser?
-
Does anyone know if there's a way to adjust the "sensitivity" of the audio analyser? Cheers.
-
@clevername27 What are you referring with sensivity? If you mean more accurate peaks, you can try frame_block node, it’s especially useful for snappy compressors, dynamic fx.
-
@orange Thanks - that's cool - never thought of that as a problem or solution, but will definitely try.
In terms of my original question, I mean the equivalent of a gain module before the analyser — but it only affects the signal level going into the analyser, and not the audible signal level. (Currently, I'm using a Send Container to do this.) Cheers.

Would wrapping both in a modchain work?
-
@griffinboy Thank you - can you explain a little more what you're thinking?
-
@clevername27 So, you add gain to the analyzer input and increase the scale to see better, right?
I am not sure if there is a GainScale property for the analyzers, like the draggable filter panel floating tile has.
Maybe you can try that with enabling the analyzer in a Parametric Eq, then using a Drag. Filter Panel FT with disabling it’s filter graphics using LAF.

@orange Very cool - I'll try.

@clevername27 You can change the properties of the analyser like this :

@Matt_SF Amazing - thanks!!! (And thanks to all.)
