Solved Repeatable Crash - Selecting Microphones (Multimic) in Sample Editor
-
Every time I click on the combobox, as soon as I select the other sample, boom.
I've also noticed that the colours in the sample map are not consistent shades of grey - unsure if that's related.
Dev build.
MacBook Pro M2
Ventura 13.6.3Edit: Repeatable, as in repeatable for me. I'm assuming someone else, with the same sample map, samples. and what-not, would get the same.

I'm not getting the crash when switching microphone, but I noticed the same thing with the colours. The G# in this image has the same number of samples mapped to it as the other keys.

@d-healey Thank you - that saved me form re-doing the sample map, just in case. Cheers, mate.

@d-healey I may have this solved. When I looked closely at my sample map XML file, all the discoloured notes had subtle errors that I'd made. (Like you, I often do my sample maps by hand.)
After I fixed the mistakes, the colours were uniform.
EDIT: When I fixed my sample map, HISE stopped crashing.

Hi @clevername27, I know this is quite an old post. But I'm having similar crash issues when I select samplers multi mic's. What was the fixes in the xml made to stop Hise from crashing?

@JFT I did the SampleMaps over again, this time not by hand.
