(macOS) AU Plugin Works, But Not VST3?

My plugin compiles to AU and VST3 instruments. When I load the AU onto a DAW track, it works. But when I load the VST3 version, nothing happens.
macOS Sonoma 14.5 / M2 / Various new development builds.
I know that's not a lot of info - any ideas? I'm probably making a simple error.

@clevername27 Have you tested in Reaper and Logic? Have you validated with PluginVal?

@clevername27 That shouldn't be the case.
What happens if you export an empty project? If it fails here, it's your HISE build (likely SDKs).
If you pass the first step, start taking apart your plugin, deleting modules one by one and compiling until it works.

@d-healey @aaronventure Thank you, both - you collectively led me to the solution. (VST plugins must go in the VST plugins folder, smh.) All set now.
