Hearing a duplicate dry signal on delay effect as hardcoded master fx

My script fx delay has a wet dry knob, and works perfectly.
but when I setup as a hardcoded master fx, I am hearing a dry predelay before the delay starts...
if that makes any sense?
i can not figure out where it is coming from.
the script fx setup works perfectly. but the hardcoded effect does not
How do you set up a routing matrix correctly for a delay in a hardcoded mastet fx slot?
